About Bistro
Hi there, I'm Bistro!
Bistro has his own special version of fetch; he may not know how to bring a ball back, but he sure does love the chase! You can expect him to fetch the ball and immediately flop over just to bask in the sun and gnaw on the ball. He also loves to go for car rides and always enjoys a good pup cup or doggie ice cream!
Bistro is so grateful for meals, exercise, and socialization after his harsh owner eventually left him with us when he became ill, only a few weeks old. He spent his first nights as a rescue dog in the parvo clinic getting fluids and supplements.
Bistro's ideal home would be an active home where he can go for long walks, hikes, trips to the beach, or really any kind of adventure! Bistro has been to adoption events and thoroughly enjoyed socializing with new friends. He has done well with cats and dogs who match with his big, bubbly personality, but he prefers the company of female dogs. He'd love to be around older kids and we think he can adjust his excitement around smaller kids.
Bistro is 2 years old and about 60 lbs. The rescue thinks he is a Shar Pei mix. He has lots of energy to burn; let's go for a run, a walk, or a hike - let's get outside!
