About Maruchan
Reserved, Chirpy, Gentle Spirit
Maruchan, lovingly called Mama Maru by her fosters, is a beautiful momcat known for her delicate mews, her adorably tiny paws and her sweet nature! She has raised her kittens with such tender love and is now ready to venture out and find a welcoming place to call home.
Maruchan is calm and cautious, not a bad idea when you're a little cat in a big world. She is reserved initially, but give her about a week to feel comfortable and she will woo you with her sweetness and her tiny, chirpy meow...especially when it's time to eat! She is a petite lady, but she has a hearty, healthy and happy appetite.
Maruchan lays low and plays it cool when she knows you're watching. But, a baby cam has caught evidence of her putting on quite a show when no one is around. She is very athletic and could definitely compete in any high jump competition - and win!
Maruchan likes to softly wind around your legs and, while she can be a coy kitty when it comes to affection, she definitely enjoys being gently petted. Her lovely gray and white tabby coat is super soft and has pretty patches of white that you will have the fun of discovering the more you're around her.
Maruchan would do well in a peaceful home with patient people and ample hiding places so she can feel safe as she gets to know you and to provide her with go-to spots if things get too scary for her liking. She warms up to adults and gentle kiddos if she is in a low-energy environment without too much of a crowd around.
