About Bellini
Meet Bellini — the girl with a forever-wagging tail, a heart full of love, and a story no dog should have to tell.
Bellini was found wandering the chaotic streets of Türkiye in 2018. She was scooped up by rescuers, her past a mystery, her spirit intact. Since then, she’s been passed over time and time again. Year after year. Seven years. More than 2,500 days in limbo, waiting for someone to see her.
Now at around 8 years old, Bellini is finally in a foster home in Charlotte, NC, slowly rediscovering what it means to be part of a family. She’s surrounded by five other dogs (after careful intros — a must!), learning to play with toys for the very first time, and soaking up every ounce of love like it’s something she never thought she’d get.
She’s a happy girl — food motivated, low energy, and obsessed with her humans. Walks? Short and sweet. But belly rubs? She’ll take those all day long.
We don’t understand why she’s been overlooked for so long. She doesn’t either.
Bellini isn’t just looking for a home — she’s looking for her person. Someone who will finally say: "You’re mine. You’re safe. You’re home."
