About Jazzy Mae

Say hello to Jazzy Mae! Jazzy was surrendered to the SPCA due to her previous owner moving and unable to take her along and she is now searching for her forever home. Jazzy Mae is a very sweet, affectionate, and loyal girl that can be shy at times but loves being around her favorite people. When she gets comfortable and lets her guard down she is a talker! She is vocal and likes to bark. She is also a very nosey lady ( and sometimes judgmental) Jazzy has lived with cats and did not seem to mind them. She has also lived with children 6-18yrs and liked them because they respected her space. She can be kind of picky on who she likes dog wise, but she seems to gravitate towards puppies! If you have a dog at home you should bring them in for a meet and greet to ensure they will get along. Jazzy is on the energetic side and likes to go out in the yard and run around and let her energy out and she also likes to go out on walks. Jazzy does know some basic commands but will only do them on her terms. She will need consistent and ongoing training and enrichment to keep her being the best girl she can be. She will also need a refresher in house breaking, due to being in a shelter setting. She has been known to get into mischief when left alone, so she will need to be crated when she is home by herself. Jazzy loves to play with squeaky tennis balls, cuddle with her person and watch dog videos.
