Meet Duri — From Survival Mode to Sunshine

Duri’s story begins in fear. Found alongside her devoted brother Jack, Duri spent her early life on the run — repeatedly attacked by packs of street dogs, forced to survive a world that gave her no safety, no peace, and no room to just be a dog.

Living in constant fear, Duri began making every move through the lens of pain — survival mode became her norm.

But that isn’t the end of her story.

Since her rescue, Duri has completed heartworm treatment and worked through an intensive rehabilitation program. And for the first time in her life… she’s learning what happiness feels like.

A soft bed.
Gentle hands.
Room to breathe and be loved.

Duri adores people — she always has. But her scars run deep, and she still struggles to feel safe around other dogs. It’s not aggression, it’s fear — fear she’s finally learning to let go of, one day at a time.

Now, Duri is ready for the right home — one filled with patience, compassion, and a heart big enough to hold all the love she has to give.
