About Tigger
Welcome, Tigger!
Meet our newest save — Tigger! This sweet, soulful guy found himself homeless in an inner-city animal control facility. Unfortunately, he held the title of “longest resident” — and while that was only a few months, it’s a title no dog should ever have. The facility, like many, is underfunded and meant for short-term stays, with no access to vet care or regular volunteers.
But all of that is now in the rearview mirror!
Tigger is about 5 years young and weighs around 51 lbs. We believe he’s a Shar Pei/Pittie mix with the cutest squishy face. He did well on his dog test with a female and passed his food test, too — what a good boy!
Huge thanks to our founder Donna and board member Sheila for springing him from the shelter, taking him to the vaccine clinic, and getting him all bathed and smelling fresh! Tigger even made a guest appearance at Lowe’s today and loved meeting new people.
He’s currently in boarding and will be working with our dedicated volunteers while he awaits a foster or foster-to-adopt home.
