Femelle, Sénior, Stérilisée, Vaccinée, Vermifugée, Micropucée et Dégriffée

AICHAT est une superbe chatte âgée d'environ 12 - 13 ans, dégriffée aux 2 pattes avant. Avec son joli pelage tabby bringé et ses grands yeux verts qui expriment tout son désarroi quant aux multiples bouleversements dans sa vie, la belle cocotte se cherche urgemment une nouvelle famille aimante pour la chérir et dorloter.

AICHAT a d'abord été abandonnée début septembre 2024 suite à un déménagement. Comme la plupart des chats séniors et surtout ceux dégriffés, au refuge elle était désemparée et confuse...mais aussi choquée et insultée de se retrouver en cage. Madame dépérissait à vitesse grand V... alors nous lui avions trouvé une gentille famille d'accueil pour que AICHAT puisse se retrouver dans un environnement calme et reprendre goût à la vie. La séduisante féline fût ensuite adoptée fin octobre 2024 au grand soulagement de tous. Malheureusement, la pauvre AICHAT nous a été ramenée au refuge mi-mai 2025 - son adoptant indiquant que depuis un mois, elle s'était mise à miauler plus et n'utilisait plus toujours sa litière. À cet effet, le vétérinaire n'a pas décelé de problèmes ou d'infection urinaire mais soupçonne un possible débalancement hormonal qui explique son visage joufflu comme celui d'un mâle.

Sa famille d'accueil et son dernier adoptant ont décrit AICHAT comme étant une chatte un peu timide, mais attachante et gentille qui acceptait avec grand plaisir les caresses et les bisous. AICHAT se laissait prendre uniquement quand elle se sentait en pleine confiance. Minette plutôt indépendante, la petite reine adore tout de même se faire flatter et venir sur nos genoux quand elle en a envie. La jolie fille aime les succulentes gâteries et c'est un excellent moyen d'établir un contact positif. Elle aime beaucoup avoir un cocon pour y faire la sieste, à l'abri des regards. AICHAT ronronne beaucoup et fait des petits mouvements de pétrissage sur votre ventre ou vos cuisses le soir avant de dormir. La nuit elle aime dormir sur le lit, collée sur sa personne...et le jour, elle s'installe sous le lit et parfois même sous les couvertures.

Ainsi, nous croyons que AICHAT pourra retrouver le bonheur et la paix d'esprit une fois qu'elle sera dans un foyer accueillant, chaleureux et calme. Traumatisée par tous ces déplacements et changements, nous cherchons des adoptants patients et compréhensifs qui sauront rassurer et donner beaucoup d'amour à cette perle de chatte. Compte tenu de son tempérament sensible, pour assurer son bien-être, AICHAT doit vivre dans un foyer sans enfants et sans autres animaux. Celle-ci déteste particulièrement la présence des autres félins - elle qui a toujours été habituée d'être toute sa vie, le seul chat de la maisonnée !

Quel cauchemar pour AICHAT...se retrouver à son âge, à nouveau en cage 🙁 Sa vie actuelle est bien misérable...dont l'urgence de lui trouver un adoptant empathique. Vous cherchez une compagne discrète, tranquille et affectueuse ? La charmante AICHAT a besoin d'une autre chance dans la vie...et elle vous sera tellement reconnaissante en retour.

Female, Senior, Spayed, Vaccinated, Dewormed, Microchipped & Declawed

AICHAT is a stunning cat, approximately 12–13 years old, declawed on both front paws. With her beautiful brindled tabby coat and large green eyes that reflect her distress over the many disruptions in her life, this lovely girl urgently seeks a new loving family to cherish and pamper her.

AICHAT was first abandoned in early September 2024 due to a move. Like most senior cats, especially declawed ones, she was lost and confused at the shelter but also shocked and insulted to find herself in a cage. She deteriorated rapidly, so we found her a kind foster family where she could settle into a calm environment and regain her zest for life. This fetching feline was then adopted at the end of October 2024, much to everyone's relief. Sadly, poor AICHAT was returned to the shelter in mid-May 2025, with her adopter stating that for the past month, she had been meowing a lot and occasionally not using her litter box. Upon examination, our veterinarian found no urinary issues or infections but suspects a possible hormonal imbalance, which could explains her big cheeks resembling that of a male cat.

Both her foster family and previous adopter described AICHAT as a somewhat shy but sweet and endearing cat who welcomed caresses and kisses with pleasure. She only allowed herself to be picked up when she completely trusts the person. Though rather independent, the furry Queen does enjoy being petted and sitting on your lap when she feels like it. She loves delicious treats, which can be a great way to establish a positive bond. AICHAT enjoys having a cozy hiding spot for naps, away from prying eyes. She purrs a lot and kneads your belly or thighs in the evening before bedtime. At night, she likes sleeping on the bed, snuggled against her person, while during the day, she often hides under the bed or sometimes even under the covers.

We believe that AICHAT can find happiness and peace of mind once she is in a welcoming, warm, and calm home. Traumatized by all these moves and changes, she needs patient and understanding adopters who will reassure her and shower her with love. Given her sensitive nature, AICHAT must live in a home without children or other pets for her well-being. She particularly dislikes other cats —having always been the only one in her household!

What a nightmare for AICHAT… At her age, she finds herself back in a cage 🙁 Her current life is miserable, making it urgent to find her an empathetic adopter.
