About Peggy

Sweet little Peggy!! She is such a loving friend. Loves her people with every fiber of her being. And while she gets along fine with other dogs, cats and loves her foster's 7 year old. She does pretty well with house training, but will use pads inside. She goes into her crate willingly with a treat, but prefers to spend her time next to her people or in the dog bed close by.

Peggy has some stiffness in her legs, but has responded well to glucosamine and a little gabapentin. She showed signs that she wasn't given the best nutrition, but a little fish oil on her food and her coat has softened up considerably. She is an older lady who wants nothing more than to curl up next to her people, or in someone's lap and enjoy her golden years. On a scale of 1-10, 10 being the best companion ever, Peggy scores an 11!!
