Dana is available for pre-adoption only, meaning you will have to take her to our vet in Somerville for her remaining vet visits for vaccines and spay surgery. We cover the costs of these appointments; you would be responsible for taking her to those appointments.

Rescued from a heartbreaking cruelty case, Dana is now safe, loved, and looking for a forever home that will show her just how good life can be. Despite the rough start, this brave girl is thriving in our care and showing her playful, loving personality more each day.
Dana is a happy, wiggly puppy who loves treats, belly rubs, and romping around the yard. She’s learning the ropes of being a pet — crate training, walking on a leash, and just how fun toys can be! She’s great with other friendly dogs and is eager to learn and bond with her humans.

All of our rescues are rehabilitated and once healthy are available for an adoption fee of $95 for cats and dogs. This fee includes:
• Extensive medical health check by a licensed veterinarian

Our goal is to find loving homes for all our rescued animals. Because we care about our rescues and their future, some animals have certain new family requirements before they can be released to their new home. Requirements for adoption could include the following:
• Veterinary reference for previous pet owners (must be/have been current on vaccinations and heartworm prevention)
• If no previous veterinary history, purchase of 3-month heartworm/flea/tick prevention
• If renting, verification with landlord on acceptability of pets and any restrictions, pet deposit, etc.
• Meet and greet with current pets to ensure compatibility
Note: We will call your current/previous veterinarian to verify that you have a history of providing vaccinations and heartworm prevention for your animal(s).
