Sonora was rescued as a stray in Hartford. She is a friendly, affectionate girl after she settles in, and likes to give and receive attention on her own terms. She would like to live in a calm environment without young children as an only pet, or with a calm, quiet animal who would respect her boundaries. She seems to prefer medium-to-large sized dogs. She is active and loves to play, and needs to have play time every day. It takes Sonora time to trust people, especially women, and she will need an experienced cat owner with patience. She chews on plants and cannot live with them. She eats canned food only. She is four years old, and has been spayed, vaccinated for rabies/distemper, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.
