Baron was rescued from a household with too many animals and no means to care for them, and is currently in a foster home in Southington with other cats. He is a calm, quiet, sweet guy who coexists peacefully with humans and other cats who respect his boundaries and give him space. He would be fine as an only pet. He likes attention on his own terms, and will purr up a storm when he gets scratches on his head and face. He will seek out his favorite people for snuggles and kisses on the couch or bed when he's in the mood. He needs a calm, quiet household. He is shy initially, can be temperamental, and will require an experienced cat owner with patience. He gives very clear cues as to when he wants attention and when he doesn't. He is friendly after he settles in, likes scratching posts, and LOVES playing with toys. He eats canned food only. His fur becomes matted easily, so he requires regular brushing. He loves to be brushed! He is 6 years old, and has been neutered, vaccinated for rabies/distemper, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.
