Effie's owner moved and couldn't take her. She is a friendly, affectionate, sweet kitty who loves attention after she settles in. She likes to sit on shoulders, and will purr and drool when she is happy. She is shy initially, and will require patience. She is fine with other pets who are not aggressive and will give her space, and is fine with with cat-savvy children after she settles in. She eats canned food only, as dry food can cause constipation. She is 3 years old, and has been spayed, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies/distemper.
